You’ve got a great new website, the design is incredible, it looks very impressive, you’ve got a sensational product or service to sell from your site. The trouble is, no one ever visits the site. Here’s why good web design just isn’t enough.
No Traffic
– A well designed website is a great asset. However, if you’re receiving no visitors, the chances are, your website isn’t optimised for Search Engines. There are some beautifully designed websites incorporating amazing images and impressive flash. But making a pretty storefront is no good if no one comes by your store to shop at it.
Off Site Activities 1
– It’s not just the work that you do directly on your website that builds your online profile and brings visitors to your website and increases your Search Engine Rankings. Article Marketing is one way of boosting these areas. Writing an engaging article on a relevant topic and posting it prominently on the Internet can boost credibility, profile and get some great backlinks.
Integration
– Until recently, you either had a great website design, or great SEO for your website. But now, designers and SEO experts are working together to produce stylish, navigable websites with informative content that are professionally optimised.

Integration of key SEO principles into a snazzy design makes the best combination.
FOUR: Hosting
– If you use a poor quality hosting service, they can really effect the way that the Search Engines view your website. If you want the most out of your website, you need to ensure that you have good quality, fast host with great customer service if things go wrong.
Off Site Activities 2
– Online Advertising is essential if you want to bring quality traffic to your website. Google, Facebook, MSN and Yahoo (and many others) all offer their own online advertising systems. To attract visitors that are looking for your goods and/or services, use Paid Search advertising.
Copy and Content
– Without high quality content on your website, you will impress visitors with your style, but they will soon click away from your site when they don’t find what they want. You need to create compelling copy and captivating content
Off Site Activities 3
– Social Media sites offer valuable opportunities for creating backlinks, providing a human face for your company and also doing some traditional advertising to specially targeted market groups. Social Media Optimisation encourages interaction between company and customer on a level that never existed before. It’s a great way to develop brand loyalty.
The Right Blend Essentially to get the most out of your website, you need to have blended your great web design, superb SEO, sizzling copy, unique content, relevant links and made the most of any brand building opportunities through Social Media Optimisation.
Developing a website with the design as your highest priority can seriously damage your ability to get customers to your site. But by considering the areas mentioned above, you can develop well designed websites that also attract the right kind of customers and keep them interested long enough to buy whatever you’re selling.

Tim Hortons, a popular Canadian express coffee and doughnut chain, has announced that they will be co-branding with another popular chain, Cold Stone Creamery, an American ice cream parlor chain.
The deal includes a total of 100 new stores, at CA$121,690 (US$100,000) each. Each company will have 50 stores that they will build as, or convert into, dual-operation franchises. Each of the 50 stores will offer menus from each company and be located in 7 states, mostly in the Northeastern U.S..
Executives at Tim Hortons believe that mixing the two together is perfect because Tim Hortons makes most of their profit in the morning, while the Creameries are more popular in the evening. The idea proved successful when tested for three months in Rhode Island, in two different stores.
“We’re very excited about the complementary daypart piece. It’s something unique in what we see from a co-branding perspective,” said Tim Hortons chief of operations, David Clanachan. Construction has already started and stores are expected to open in May.
Tim Hortons was founded by Canadian ice hockey player Tim Horton. The first store opened in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964. In July of 2007, there were over 2,700 locations in Canada and 500 in the U.S.. Cold Stone Creamery was founded in 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona. There are over 1,400 operation, in locations such as Japan, South Korea and the U.S..

Visit property tax accountant for more information specifically
How these taxes works
This tax goes into the account of government. There is no loss in paying these taxes, there are various kinds of benefits which can be enjoyed if these taxes are paid timely and no tax evasion is done. In the taxation it is being emphasized that tax evasion can lead to evil consequences. House tax is the property tax and this is an essential part of the tax. This house tax is collected on the house in which person and his family is living. It is not sure about the property tax that how much is going to be charges. The owners of the property there is levy which is being imposed by the government at different rates have to be paid by the returning authority.
Who collects the tax?
For the local bodies means the government this property tax is the main source and entire residents are suppose to pay these taxes on time. If these tax are delayed or not paid and huge debit comes over the tax evader than there are severe punishment and stern actions which are directed by that particular authority. The main thing in this property tax is the entire area which is registered and thus tax is imposed on over that entire area. If these taxes are ignored then the amount keeps on credited over the government and the owner of the house has to pay it at any cost because in case he fails to submit the tax on time then that particular institution or department will collect the tax with proper channel. The tax money cannot be cheated nor can it be avoided.

State officials in Queensland, Australia, have begun working on a draft protocol to use security cameras to record conversations in taxis. The new draft proposes to change a current policy which allows for cameras in taxis which do not record sound for privacy reasons, in the hope that audio recordings will make some investigations easier.
The paper, which says audio recordings would “provide greater certainty with regard to investigations, particularly in situation of conflicting statements,” is currently at the Transport and Main Roads department. The proposal also suggests extending the time taxi companies can keep recordings downloaded from security cameras from the current 30–35 days.
The chairman of one taxi company said the proposed measure would increase the safety of his drivers. “In 2006 the government introduced the security cameras and most cabs now have GPS units,” he said. “What we’ve got now is an improvement over having nothing at all and as a result there has been a fair improvement in the reduction of assaults on taxi drivers.”
Queensland Taxi Advisers Incorporated, a union of taxi operators, said they supported the introduction of audio recording because it would create “greater transparency and certainty in investigations where there were conflicting statements from drivers and passengers.”
To address privacy concerns, the paper proposes to add stickers to the entry points at the taxis. The text will read, “Security cameras and microphones fitted. You will be photographed. Conversations will be recorded”. However, the legislation draft has met opposition from some. Scott Emerson, a spokesperson for the Liberal National Party of Queensland, objected to the measure on privacy grounds. “We need to know how these recordings are going to be used,” he said. “Who’s going to have access to them?”
Michael Cope, the president of the Queensland Council of Civil Liberties said he opposed the measure because the recordings might be used by taxi companies in civil cases concerning driver complaints. “We’re swapping from saying it’s about safety to saying it’s about setting fare disputes,” he said. “We don’t think that justifies collecting … intensely personal information that audio recordings collect.”
Queensland’s privacy commissioner Linda Matthews reacted said the recordings would be used for genuine law enforcement purposes. Annastacia Palaszczuk, Queensland’s Transport Minister, said the ideas within the proposal would be heavily considered before being implemented. She said: “If people think it’s a good idea then we go to full consultation. I would be meeting with the privacy commissioner, I’d be meeting with the taxi industry, I’d be consulting with members of the public in a much more formal way.”

A U.S. lobbyist group, the United Seniors Association, filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Boston to recover Medicare expenses related to tobacco smoking. The suit says there is a link between nicotine addiction and smoking-related diseases.
The first of its kind lawsuit seeks to recover as much as $60 billion in estimated Medicare expenses outlaid for treatment of lung cancer and emphysema patients.
The Medicare Secondary Payer Statute (MSP) allows someone to sue on behalf of Medicare. The medical expenses that another party was legally obligated to cover, in this case the tobacco companies if they are found liable in court, would be split between parties to the suit and Medicare. The MSP statute was entered in part because the government does not have the resources to prosecute every case under Medicare law.
Charles Jarvis, the CEO of the group said, “Our motivation is one of taxpayer protection.” He added, “Considering how badly the taxpayers have been injured financially, we believe the responsible parties — the tobacco companies — should be reimbursing the taxpayer to the greatest amount possible under the law.”
Currently, U.S. employees are taxed by Medicare at 1.45% of their earnings. This payroll tax amount is matched by their employer when paid to the IRS.
The lawsuit names Philip Morris USA, Lorillard Tobacco, the Liggett Group, and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco and two of its subsidiaries as defendants. The United Seniors Association is asking for twice the amount paid by Medicare to treat smoking related illnesses since 1999.

One usually thinks of the western saddle as an American style of horse riding, but in fact it’s origins can be traced back to the Moorish horsemen and warriors of the Dark Ages. When the Moors invaded Spain in the 700’s, they brought with them their unique style of horseback riding and tack. Their saddles were designed for battle with longer stirrups to accommodate their armor and high cantles which provided them security in the saddle and protection from their enemies. So it was mostly Knights and crusaders that used these saddles.
The Spanish adapted the Moors saddle for their use in to what became known as the Spanish War Saddle. This was the same saddle they brought with them to the New World. As they changed from needing military gear to fight an uprising to the needs of colonial expansion, the military saddle was again transformed in to a stock saddle to better suit their needs. This was known as the Spanish Stock Saddle. It was designed as a tool for the working cowboy and evolved along with the expansion into the American West, from everything to fighting Indians to helping settlers round up their cattle.
Over time the stock saddle was influenced by geography and the culture using it. Very distinct styles developed reflecting differences in climate, terrain, culture and stock working styles. The harsh climate and punishing brush of the mesquite of the southwest resulted in saddles built to protect the rider, thus making it big, bulky, heavy and plain. California, on the other hand, had a mild climate with lush land where the vaqueros had much more leisure time. Their saddles were not only smaller than the Texans, but evolved into highly decorative pieces that are still used in show rings today with their conchos and elaborate designes of tooling.

From the 1700’s through the 1950’s, the western saddle continued to grow and evolve, with many new features to support cattle work and improved construction methods extending the strength, durability and comfort of the piece.
Today, the working cowboy isn’t the only focus on saddle making. They are now designed for a wide variety of uses and riders such as trail or pleasure, endurance, rodeo contestant, team roper, barrel racer, reiner, cutter, and of course, working cowboy. Western saddles are now all over the world, but regardless of the style or origins, all of these saddles have an ancestry they share from the western stock saddle.

On Friday, August 4, bride-to-be Julianna Redd’s parents, Lemeul and Julia Redd, told her that she was going on a shopping trip but instead she was driven 390 km (240 miles) from Provo, Utah to Grand Junction, Colorado by her parents trying to talk her out of getting married.
Her now husband, Perry Myers, called the police when Julianna and her parents did not attend the pre-wedding dinner.
The Redds spent the night in Colorado before going to Provo the day the couple were supposed to be married at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.
They were married at the temple on Tuesday, August 8.
Julianna Myers said she will be pressing charges.
“I was totally confused and manipulated,” she said.
“I’ve never had a case quite like this,” said Utah County Attorney Kay Bryson, after charging Lemuel and Julia Redd.
“It is strange that parents would go to that extent to keep an adult daughter from marrying the man that she had chosen to marry.”
Lemuel, 59, and Julia, 56, are expected to be in court on Thursday, October 26 facing charges of second degree felony kidnapping. If convicted they could face one to 15 years imprisonment.
The couple, both students at Brigham Young University, are expecting their first child in May.
